Finally, the main hall of the museum is constructed like a chapel, with colourful glass windows – and in the center a huge 6 m high bronze statue of a cosmonaut.
It will have been part of soviet propaganda, but still in this perspective it is impressive how non-functional arguments were used so openly to „explain“ the quest for space.
